¡¡Una vez más Coldplay!! / One more time Coldplay!!

Pues una vez más tuvimos la oportunidad de ir al concierto de Coldplay, hace aproximadamente un año se presentaron en el Globen en Estocolmo y este año se presentaron en el estadio de Estocolmo y pues nos volvimos a lanzar.

En esta ocasión para quitarnos el mal sabor de boca de la vez pasada nos fuimos hasta abajo a estar en el mero ambiente y en la mera bola.

Llegamos en la noche del viernes a Estocolmo, en la mañana del sábado amaneció lloviendo pero luego la lluvia paró, nos pusimos a caminar y comprar unas cuantas cosillas jeje. Y como por ahí de las 5:00 decidimos comer en un MAX para después caminar al hotel y aventar nuestras comprar y prepararnos para el concierto. Claro que a Peter le dio hambre antes.


El día se puso muy bien, el cielo se despejó y andábamos en una temperatura de 20°C. Llegamos al estadio después de una larga caminata como a las 6:30 y esperamos como media hora para poder entrar. Una vez adentro a los poco minutos empezó el grupo que abrió que en esta ocasión fue White Lies el cual estuvo bastante bien, en particular la canción de "Death" está muy buena.


Total que poco a poco nos fuimos metiendo entre la multitud para terminar a unos 10 m de la parte de enmedio del escenario pero pues lamentablemente estoy bastante chaparrita jaja para este tipo de eventos. Una vez que empezó pues todo mundo se animó bastante, cantando, aplaudiendo, gritando, etc. Moy de vez en cuando me levantaba para ver más.

El concierto duró poco menos de 2 horas pero estuvo bastante bien, nos gustó bastante, cantando a todo pulmón y brincando lo más que se podía. Obviamente no podía faltar el tributo a Michael Jackson dentro del concierto cantando Billy Jean.

Al día siguiente desayunamos y partimos a la estación de camiones ya que nos esperaba un laaaargo camino a casa, en camión por 8 horas (con 1 hora de intermedio jeje).

Once more we had the chance to go to a Coldplay concert, a year ago more or less they came to Globen in Stockholm and this year they came to the Olympic Stadium of Stockholm and we went to see them again.

This time we decided to have a better experience than last time, so we went to the lowest part to be in the crowd with more party around.

We arrived friday night to Stockholm; saturday morning was raining but then th rain went away, we walked around and bought some stuff hehe. Around 17:00 we decided to eat in a MAX and later walk to the hotel to drop our shopping y get ready for the concert. Of course Peter was hungry before that.

The day turn to a very nice once, the sky was clear and the temperature was around 20°C. We arrived to the stadium after a long walk around 18:30, it took us like half hour to get in. Once inside, a few minutes later the opening group started, this time was White Lies, which was really good, specially the song "Death".

Little by little we got into the crowd and we finished like 10 meters from the part of the middle of the stage, but unfortunately I am quite small for this kind of shows haha. Once the concert started all the people was really excited, dancing, clapping, singing, shouting, etc. Once in a while Moy pull me up to see more.

The concert lasted a little bit less than 2 hours but was really good, we liked it a lot, singing and jumping as much as we could. Of course they performed a little tribute to Michael Jackson during the concert singing Billy Jean.

The next day we took breakfast and went to the bus station, we had a looong way home, 8 hours by bus (with 1 hour break hehe).

¡Coldplay en Concierto! / Coldplay in Concert!

Desde que Coldplay saltó a la fama con su disco Parachutes, Moy quedó fascinado por la música y como empezaba nuestro noviazgo hicimos nuestra la canción de 'Yellow'. Cuando nos venimos a Europa prometimos ir a un concierto de ellos en cuanto se presentara la oportunidad, hace unos meses vimos que se presentarían en Estocolmo en el Globen y decidimos lanzarnos a verlos. Se fueron con nosotros Peter, Johan, Henrik y Anna.

El concierto estuvo EXCELENTE principalmente cubrieron el último disco pero no pudieron dejar fuera los éxitos de sus discos pasados. Abrió una banda de la cual ni me sé su nombre y la verdad no me gustó nada ya solo quería que se callaran jaja. Después de esperar una hora más, empezó a sonar 'El Cascanueces' y acto seguido abrir el concierto con 'Violet Hill'.

La verdad es que con cada canción que empezaba se te ponía la piel chinita y veías a Chris Martin corriendo por todo el escenario. Después de 1 hora 45 min se despidieron con 'Death and All His Friends', para regresar a cerrar con 'Yellow'. El concierto se me pasó como agua, cuando menos lo piensas ya se terminó :(

De antemano pido una disculpa a cualquier persona que se pueda sentir ofendida obviamente no estoy generalizando, pero en esta ocasión los suecos si me dejaron un muy mal sabor de boca, es algo que simplemente no pude creer y fue el hecho de la manera tan fría de actuar en el concierto. Primero no pude salir de mi asombro cuando veías a la entrada al concierto ¡¡qué vendían tapones para los oídos!! y todos los suecos usan taones para estar en el concierto, y bueno luego durante el concierto los ves sentados en sus asientos, sin moverse, es como si estuvieran estudiando la música en lugar de sentirla. Pero en fin allá ellos jaja.

Since Coldplay became famous with their album Parachutes, Moy loved the music and since our relationship was starting we made the song 'Yellow' ours. When we came to Europe we promised go to at least one of their concerts as soon as we could, a few months ago we saw that they were going to be in Stockholm in the Globen and we decided to go. Peter, Johan, Henrik and Anna went with us.

The concert was just AMAZING they played mainly the last album but they couldn't leave the hits of the other albums out. I didn't like the band that opened the concert and I don't even know the name, I was just waiting until they go away haha. After waiting one more hour, 'The Nutcracker' started and after that the concert started with 'Violet Hill'.

The truth is that with each song I got the chills inside and you saw Chris Martin running around the stage. After 1 hour 45 min they said goodbye with 'Death and All His Friends', but they went back to close with 'Yellow'. the concert was soooo fast, like water, when you don't think about it, it ends :(

Ok so before starting this I ask for an apology if someone feels offended and I'm not generalizing, but this time the swedes really disappointed me, it's something that I simply couldn't believe and was the cold way they that swedes behave in the concert. First I was really amazed when in the entrance they were selling earplugs!! and all the swedes got into the concert with them and during the concert you see them just sitting there without moving, like if they were studying the music instead of feeling it. But anyway is their life haha.
