¡¡Una vez más Coldplay!! / One more time Coldplay!!

Pues una vez más tuvimos la oportunidad de ir al concierto de Coldplay, hace aproximadamente un año se presentaron en el Globen en Estocolmo y este año se presentaron en el estadio de Estocolmo y pues nos volvimos a lanzar.

En esta ocasión para quitarnos el mal sabor de boca de la vez pasada nos fuimos hasta abajo a estar en el mero ambiente y en la mera bola.

Llegamos en la noche del viernes a Estocolmo, en la mañana del sábado amaneció lloviendo pero luego la lluvia paró, nos pusimos a caminar y comprar unas cuantas cosillas jeje. Y como por ahí de las 5:00 decidimos comer en un MAX para después caminar al hotel y aventar nuestras comprar y prepararnos para el concierto. Claro que a Peter le dio hambre antes.


El día se puso muy bien, el cielo se despejó y andábamos en una temperatura de 20°C. Llegamos al estadio después de una larga caminata como a las 6:30 y esperamos como media hora para poder entrar. Una vez adentro a los poco minutos empezó el grupo que abrió que en esta ocasión fue White Lies el cual estuvo bastante bien, en particular la canción de "Death" está muy buena.


Total que poco a poco nos fuimos metiendo entre la multitud para terminar a unos 10 m de la parte de enmedio del escenario pero pues lamentablemente estoy bastante chaparrita jaja para este tipo de eventos. Una vez que empezó pues todo mundo se animó bastante, cantando, aplaudiendo, gritando, etc. Moy de vez en cuando me levantaba para ver más.

El concierto duró poco menos de 2 horas pero estuvo bastante bien, nos gustó bastante, cantando a todo pulmón y brincando lo más que se podía. Obviamente no podía faltar el tributo a Michael Jackson dentro del concierto cantando Billy Jean.

Al día siguiente desayunamos y partimos a la estación de camiones ya que nos esperaba un laaaargo camino a casa, en camión por 8 horas (con 1 hora de intermedio jeje).

Once more we had the chance to go to a Coldplay concert, a year ago more or less they came to Globen in Stockholm and this year they came to the Olympic Stadium of Stockholm and we went to see them again.

This time we decided to have a better experience than last time, so we went to the lowest part to be in the crowd with more party around.

We arrived friday night to Stockholm; saturday morning was raining but then th rain went away, we walked around and bought some stuff hehe. Around 17:00 we decided to eat in a MAX and later walk to the hotel to drop our shopping y get ready for the concert. Of course Peter was hungry before that.

The day turn to a very nice once, the sky was clear and the temperature was around 20°C. We arrived to the stadium after a long walk around 18:30, it took us like half hour to get in. Once inside, a few minutes later the opening group started, this time was White Lies, which was really good, specially the song "Death".

Little by little we got into the crowd and we finished like 10 meters from the part of the middle of the stage, but unfortunately I am quite small for this kind of shows haha. Once the concert started all the people was really excited, dancing, clapping, singing, shouting, etc. Once in a while Moy pull me up to see more.

The concert lasted a little bit less than 2 hours but was really good, we liked it a lot, singing and jumping as much as we could. Of course they performed a little tribute to Michael Jackson during the concert singing Billy Jean.

The next day we took breakfast and went to the bus station, we had a looong way home, 8 hours by bus (with 1 hour break hehe).

Madonna en Concierto / Madonna in Concert

Pues por x o z razón se me había pasado platicarles sobre el concierto de Madonna. Y bueno creo que todo fue porque en realidad fue un poco decepcionante. Primero abrió el concierto Paul Oakenfold y pues la verdad si hubieran puesto una grabadora hubiera dado lo mismo jajaja. Como a las 9:30 Madonna salió al escenario y aunque el concierto en sí no estuvo mal, el ambiente pues nunca se levantó ni nada. La gente una vez más sentada moviendo un pie a lo mucho jaja.






Una parte que realmente no me gustó para nada fue como a medio concierto cuando Madonna terminó de cantar la de "Spanish Lessons" y después sale un grupo con sus guitarritas y medio x a cantar canciones leeeentaaaas. Pero el colmo de los colmos fue cuando Madonna se pone a medio escenario, empieza a hablar sobre los suecos, saluda al público y dice "I heard Sweden likes to party!!!" (Escuché que a Suecia le gusta la fiesta), obviamente todo el mundo se prende y grita "YEEESSS!!!" (SIII) ... acto seguido empieza Madonna con una guitarra acústica a cantar la canción MÁS aburrida que se pudo encontrar, "You Must Love Me".


Yo en lo personal pues estuve cantando y bailando y la pase bien, pero pudo haber estado mejor. No pudo faltar el tributo a Michael Jackson con un pequeño remix y no estuvo nada mal.




De mis canciones favoritas fueron "Like a Prayer", "4 minutes" y "Give it to Me". Creo que parte de lo malo del concierto fue el sonido que se quedaba en el escenario y como que no salía al público en general.







Y bueno ya al final todo mundo se quedó esperando a que regresará al escenario pero no, se despidió sin más ni más. Duró casi las 2 horas el concierto.

Well for some reason or other I haven't tell you about Madonna's concert. And well I think mainly because was a little bit disappointing. In the beginning the concert special guest was Paul Oakenfold and I most said that if they put a recorder with music could be the same hahaha. Around 21:30 Madonna went out and although the concert was not bad, the people never got in the mood. One more time the people was sitting and moving maybe just a foot haha.

One thing that I really didn't like was around half concert when Madonna started singing "Spanish Lessons" and after that a group of people with guitars (whatever) and started singing very slooooow songs. But what really was like "what's going on???" was when Madonna is in the middle of the stage, say hello to the audience, starts talking about the swedes and said "I heard Sweden likes to party!!!", of course everybody got very excited and shouted "YEEESSS!!!" ... after that Madonna starts singing with an acoustic guitar the MOST boring song that she could find, "You Must Love Me".

I was singing and dancing and had a great time, but I think it could be better. And of course could not be missed the tribute to Michael Jackson with a little remix and was not bad at all.

My favorite songs were "Like a Prayer", "4 minutes" and "Give it to Me". I think that part of the bad thing of the concert was that the sound stays in the staged and didn't come out to all the audience.

And well at the end everybody was waiting that Madonna return to the stage but no, she said goodbye without any more explanation. The concert was almost 2 hours.

¡¡¡Un día muy bonito!!! / A very pretty day!!!

El día de hoy, el clima estuvo MUUUY bonito, por lo tanto decidimos echarnos la pinta y no ir a nuestra clase de sueco jeje.




Nos salimos a caminar y aprovechamos para comernos un sandwich de camarones (Räksmörgås) en el café de las compuertas (Slusscafeet) que no estuvo nada mal, lo único malo desde mi punto de vista fue cuando descubrí a medio sandwich ¡¡¡medio huevo cocido!!! el cual odio así que decidí pasárselo a Moy jeje.




Después continuamos caminando y como íbamos a la orilla del río le dije a Moy que se me antojaba meter los pies al agua, así que encontramos un lugarcito ideal donde sentarnos y poder mojar mis pies, aunque el agua estaba bastante fría y cuando los metí por primera vez se me enfriaron hasta las ideas jaja, pero ya luego me fui aclimatando. Moy se estaba quedando dormido pero una horrible oruga lo despertó cuando se empezaba a subir en él.





Disfrutamos mucho nuestra tarde y esperamos que el clima nos permita volverlo a repetir pronto.

Today, the weather was VERY nice, so we decided to skip our swedish class hehe.

We went out to walk and we took the opportunity to eat a sandwich of shrimps (Räksmörgås) in the coffee of the locks (Slusscafeet) that was not bad at all, the only thing I didn't like was when I discovered that in the middle of the sandwich was half of a boiled egg!!! which I hate so I decided to put it in Moy place hehe.

Afterthat we continue walking and since we were in the edge of the river I told Moy that could be nice to put my feet in the water, we found a perfect spot where we could sit down and put my feet in the water, but the water was really cold and when I put me feet for the first time my ideas were also cold haha, but after a while I got used to it. Moy was getting sleep when I horrible caterpillar woke him up when started to get on him.

We enjoyed a lot our afternoon and hopefully we will enjoy it soon if the weather allow us.

Bohus Fästning

Este fin de semana nos lanzamos a la Fortaleza de Bohus que desde hace mucho teníamos ganas de ir. Se encuentra a las afueras de Gotemburgo. El día no era de lo mejor puesto que hacía mucho aire. Salimos de Trole como a las 11:30 y fuimos a la tienda de fábrica de galletas Goteborg's donde compramos una buena ración ya que estaban a muy buen precio. Peter llevaba café recién hecho y nos lo tomamos a las afueras de la fortaleza acompañado de nuestras galletas.




Finalmente entramos a la fortaleza a las 2 de la tarde para alcanzar a la guía aunque sería en sueco así que no entendimos todo por supuesto. Resulta que la fortaleza se construyó por el año 1300 por el gobierno noruego ya que ahí existía la frontera entre Noruega y Suecia. Hubo 14 intentos de apoderarse de la fortaleza pero sin éxito hasta que por el Tratado de Roskilde pasó a ser propiedad de Suecia. Aunque en varias ocasiones tuvo que ser reconstruída por los daños sufridos en varias guerras. La fortaleza tambien fue prisión y su más famoso prisionero pasó 32 años en una celda de piedra sin ventanas.






La fortaleza cuenta con varios túneles y pasadizos por todos lados, y con 3 torres principales, así como dos grandes bodegas, cocina, capilla y un mini laguito. Tiene un estilo muy medieval por lo que la guía también estaba vestida de acuerdo a la época. Y a mediados de julio se hace un festival medieval.






En general nuestro viaje estuvo muy divertido aunque al final empezó a llover y fue justo a tiempo cuando nos fuimos de regreso al coche para no empaparnos.

Last weekend we went to the Bohus Fortress where we wanted to go since a long time ago. It's located outside Gothenburg. The day wasn't the best because was really windy. We went out from Trollhättan around 11:30 and went to the "outlet" store of cookies Goteborg's where we bought a good amount of cookies since were cheap. Peter took just made coffee so we took it outside the fortress with our cookies.

Finally we got in the fortress around 14:00 to reach the guide although was in swedish so we didn't understand everything of course. But well the fortress was made around the year 1300 byt the norwegian government since there was the border between Sweden and Norway. The fortress was invested 14 times, but was never captured. Was with the Treaty of Roskilde that become a property of Sweden. In several occasions has to be reconstructed due to the wars. The fortress was also a prison and one of the most famous prisoners spent 32 years here in a stone cell without any window.

The fortress has several tunnels and corridors everywhere and three main towers, two big storage rooms, kitchen, chapel and a little lake. Has a medieval style and the guide was dress with clothes from that time. In the middle of July a medieval festival is made there.

In general our trip was really fun although in the end started to rain and we went just in time to the car without getting all wet.

Concierto U2 360° / U2 360° Concert

La semana pasada vino U2 a Gotemburgo y tuvimos la fortuna de ir. Nos fuimos de aquí en tren-camión (no hay trenes por el momento de Trole a Gotemburgo) y llegamos alrededor de las 7:00 al Estadio Ullevi.



Snow Patrol (el grupo que abrió) salió a las 8:00 en punto y la verdad es que cantó muchas canciones que me gustan, estuvo como 45 min cantando. Aunque en este concierto les faltó 'Run' que si cantaron al día siguiente pero bueno no importa.




Y continúo la espera para U2, la cual si estuvo larga, pues salieron hasta las 9:35. Que les puedo decir, el escenario está gigantescamente espectacular.

Aquí pueden ver hasta donde había gente "viendo" el concierto.

Al principio estábamos un poco nerviosos de que nos decepcionaran las canciones puesto que escuchamos el último disco y la verdad es un poco aburrido pero supieron darle el toque a las canciones para que no estuvieran lentas.

Obviamente mi color de escenario favorito.

I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight, nuevo disco que tocaron en remix y realmente fue una versión muy padre. Y Larry Mullen por fin se pudo desentumir de la batería.



Beautiful Day, les dejo esta versión de Gotemburgo y que aparte el chavo toma el lado donde nosotros estábamos.



La mayor decepción fue With or Without You que realmente fue una versión aburrida y como fuera de ritmo.

Pero bueno la pasamos muy bien, el concierto estuvo excelente y en esta ocasión la gente si estuvo despierta, prendida, cantando, bailando y gritando, llegaron con tapones en los oídos y la mayoría se los quitó jeje.

Y nosotros estamos listos para el que sigue...Madonna.

Last week, U2 came to Gothenburg and we were lucky to be there. We leave Trollhättan in a train-bus (at the moment there are not trains from Thn to Gbg) and we arrived around 19:00 to Ullevi Stadium.

Snow Patrol (the opening group) went out at 20:00 sharp and they sang a lot of songs I like, they were singing like 45 minutes.

After that the waiting for U2 continue, which was long, because they came out at 21:35. But what can I say, the stage is spectacularly huge.

In the beginning we were a little bit nervous that we may get disappointed of the songs because the new CD is kind of boring but they knew how to make changes to avoid the songs to be slooow.

Our favourite songs were: Sunday Bloody Sunday, Vertigo, one from the new CD called I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight, which they play in remix and was a great version. And Larry Mullen finally was able to stay away from the drums and Beautiful Day, the version I put here is from Gothenburg and the guy was taking the side where we were.

The biggest disappointment was With or Without You which was a boring version and out of rhythm.

We had a very good time, the concert was excellent and this time the people was awake, excited, singing, dancing and shouting. They arrived with earplugs and almost everybody removed them hehe.

And we are ready for the next one...Madonna.
