Seedningsloppet

Pues este fin de semana Moy corrió su primer carrera con gente. Resulta que antes del Göteborgsvarvet organizan una carrera de 10km para que quien quiera prepararse y de paso agarrar una mejor posición de salida en el medio maratón.

Así que nos lanzamos con Peter ya que él tambien iba a correr solo para checar su condición antes del Göteborgsvarvet.

Corrieron alrededor de 2600 personas así que se veía mucha gente ya que era un espacio algo pequeño donde era la salida. Tomaron sus lugares y se prepararon para salir, yo solamente era la fotógrafa oficial y cargadora de toda la ropa. Llegó un momento en que hacía un aironazo y las manos se me congelaban un buen.

Al final Peter le ganó a Moy pero bueno no eran competencias jeje. Moy de todos modos hizo muy buen tiempo y aparte no llegó muriendo como todos los demás corredores jajaja. Así que estoy muy orgullosa de él.

Después de la carrera se pudieron bañar en un centro comercial con regaderas y luego nos pusimos a ver tiendas y luego a comer se ha dicho. Ya después de comer decidimos regresar para que descansaran los corredores.

This weekend Moy run his first race with people. What happen is that before the Göteborgsvarvet they organize a 10km race for those that want to get prepare and also get a better start position for the half marathon.

So we went with Peter because he was also going to run to check his condition before the Göteborgsvarvet.

They ran around 2600 persons so you could se a lot of people because the space of the start point was kind of small. They took their positions and get ready to start, I was just the official photographer and also the carrier of all the clothes. In some point was very windy so my hands were freezing a lot.

At the end Peter won against Moy but was not a competition hehe. Moy made a very good time anyway and he was not dying in the end as the other runners hahaha. So I am really proud of him.

After the race they were able to take a shower in a mall that has showers and then we made a little bit of window shopping to eat after that. After we ate we decided to go back so the runners could rest.

Fin en Karlsad / Weekend at Karlstad

Peter nos invitó por el fin de semana a visitar a su hermana en Karlstad para conocer a Alfred. Sus papás rentaron una pequeña casa donde nos podíamos quedar a dormir. Así que tomamos el tren el sábado en la mañana. Al llegar a la estación ya nos esperaba el papá de Peter para llevarnos a casa de la hermana de Peter. Todos nos recibieron muy contentos y tuve el gusto de cargar al pequeño Alfred quien se quedó muy quietecito. La mamá de Peter había preparado unos roles de canela (kanelbullar) así que tuvimos una pequeña fika. Más tarde salimos un rato a vagar por la ciudad para luego regresar a cenar con toda la familia. Ese día era la final del Melodifestivalen así que nos dispusimos a verlo todos juntos.

Al día siguiente después de tener un baño con el agua más fría que jamás he sentido nos fuimos a desayunar para luego salir a jugar con Saga a un parque porque ella quería patinar pero desgraciadamente la pista ya estaba cerrada por fin de temporada así que solo anduvimos jugando en los juegos. Regresamos a comer lunch para luego salir hechos la raya a tomar el camión de regreso.







Fue un viaje corto pero pudimos hacer algo diferente y convivir más con la familia de Peter con quienes hablamos más sueco jeje.

Peter invited us to go and visit his sister for the weekend in Karlstad to meet Alfred. His parents rented a little house where we could stay to sleep. So we took the train on saturday morning. When we arrived at the station his father was already waiting for us to take us to Peter's sister house. Everybody received us really happy and I got the pleasure to carry the little Alfred, who stay very calm. Peter's mother prepared some cinnamon rolls (kanelbullar) so we took a little fika. Later we went out to walk around the city to get back on time to have dinner we all the family. That day was melodifestivalen's final so we watched all together.

The next after having one of the coldest showers ever we went to have breakfast to go out and play with Saga in a park because she wanted to ice-skate but unfortunately the rink was already close for the season so we were just playing around in the games. We went back to have lunch and go as fast as we could to the station to take the bus back home.

Was a short trip but was good to make something different and be with Peter's family, with whom we speak more swedish hehe

¡¡¡Cuidado arriba!!! / Watch out up!!!

Se me había olvidado comentarles que con esto de la nieve tambien viene un pequeño problema. El caso es que al quedarse la nieve en los techos de las casas y al darles sol pues se empieza a derretir dicha nieve pero luego se va el sol y baja la temperatura así que se congela la "nieve" pero se empiezan a hacer picos (estalactitas) punteagudos que pueden caer en cualquier momento.

Desgraciadamente ha habido ocasiones en que muere gente al caerles los picos en la cabeza. Por lo general la gente de las casas cuando notan que su casa tiene picos ponen palos de madera para que camines alejado de la pared.

Siendo sincera los picos se ven bien padres pero obviamente peligrosos.

I was forgetting to tell you that with this stuff of the snow comes a little problem also. The thing is that when the snow stays in the roofs and then the sun start shining on them so the snow starts melting but then the snow goes away and the temperature decreases so the "snow" gets frozen but begin to make pointing peaks (stalactites) that can all at any time.

Unfortunately there have been occasions when people die after the peaks fell down in their heads. Generally the owners of the houses put some wood sticks standing in the walls when they start noticing that their house has peaks so people should walk far away from the wall.

To be honest the peaks look really cool but obviously dangerous.

Limpiando la nieve / Cleaning the snow

Cuando hay mucha acumulación de nieve en los techos planos es necesario y recomendable quitar la nieve de otra manera el peso de la nieve podría hacer que el techo se viniera abajo. ESto ha pasado mucho en los últimos días por lo mucho que ha nevado.

El colmo fue hace unos días cuando al recién estrenado estadio de Bandy del pueblo vecino Vänersborg se le hizo un hoyo en el techo jajaja. Se estrenó a finales del año pasado después de causar gran polémica debido a que el gobierno decide construir el estadio con un costo aproximado de 140 millones de coronas suecas pero en medio de la crisis económica el costo total subió a 280 millones de coronas. Aquí les dejo las fotos jeje.



Pero bueno el fin del post no era ese sino comentarles que en el edificio donde vivimos decidieron quitar la nieve del techo del edificio que está enfrente de nosotros, para dicho fin contrataron a tres chavos quienes lo hacían de la manera más lenta posible, quiero pensar que era porque les pagaban por hora.




Pasó una semana y todavía no terminaban de remover toda la nieve jaja y aparte al final ya eran cuatro. Uno de sus principales problemas era que cada vez que tiraban una pala de nieve se ponían a platicar y pues no se veía para cuando terminaran.

En una ocasión estaba dos chavos en la misma zona pero en un principio estaban separados por un montón de nieve así que no podían platicar y la velocidad se incrementó pero el chavo más platicador decidió abrir camino entre los dos y entonces volvieron al lavadero jajaja.


Yo siento que yo me hubiera tardado porque me la hubiera pasado jugando con la nieve jajaja.

When there is too much snow in the flat roofs is necessary and recommendable remove the snow otherwise the weight of it could make the roof come down. This had happen a lot in the last days because has been snowing a lot.

The most ridiculous thing was a few days ago when the newly released bandy arena of the neighbor town of Vänersborg broke down and got a big hole in the roof hahaha. The arena was release in the end of last year after causing a big discussion due that the government decided to make a new arena with an approximate cost of 140 millions of swedish crowns but in the middle of the economic crisis the cost went to 280 millions of crowns. Here I leave you the pictures hehe.

But anyway that was not the goal of this post but to tell you that in our building they decided to remove the snow from the building that is in front of us, to make that possible they hired 3 guys who made it in the slowest possible way, I want to think that they were getting pay by the hour.

After a week they haven't finish yet haha and they were 4 in the end. One of the main issues was that everytime they throw away a shovel of snow they start talking and you could not see when they were going to finish.

One time two guys were cleaning the same area but in the beginning they were separate by a lot of snow so they couldn't chat and they were going really fast but the most chatting guy decided to open the road for them to meet and then they go back to the chatting hahaha.

I feel that I would have taken too much time because I would have been playing with the snow all the time hahaha.
