Cumpleaños de Peter / Peter's Birthday

El día de ayer fue el cumpleaños de nuestro querido amigo Peter. Y para celebrarlo nos invitó a su casa.

El miércoles que estábamos platicando me ofrecí a hacerle su pastel pero para dicho fin él lo escogió. Después de buscar pasteles durante casi una hora se decidió por uno de coco. El jueves compré los ingredientes que me faltaban y más tarde me dispuse a hacerlo. Ya que estaba listo le pedí a Moy que me armara una protección de cartón para llevárnoslo a casa de Peter y ya cuando estábamos con un pie en la calle empezó a llover pero pues emprendimos la carrera a casa de Peter.

Ya estando allá no pudimos evitar hacerle una pequeña broma siendo el "día de los inocentes" acá en Suecia y entonces dejamos el pastel en otro piso y subimos a tocar su timbre. Una vez que nos abrió con una sonrisa de oreja a oreja en la cara le dimos la mala noticia de que su pastel se nos había caído jejeje, aunque quiso aparentar no estar triste la realidad era que si lo estaba, después de que ya estaba pensando que planear para solucionar el problema, Moy llegó con el pastel y la sonrisa regresó a la cara de Peter jeje.

Una vez que llegaron todos los invitados se dispuso a abrir sus regalos y luego le trajimos el pastel lleno de velitas las cuales le costaron trabajo apagar pero lo logró jeje. Y la verdad es que el pastel estaba delicioso!!



En general el festejo estuvo muy bien y Peter estaba muy contento.

Yesterday was birthday of our dear friend Peter and to celebrate it he invited us to his house.

On wednesday when we were chatting I offered him to make his cake but to do that he chose it. After searching for cakes during almost 1 hour he finally chose one of coconut. On thursday I bought the ingredients I was missing and later I made the cake. When it was ready I asked Moy if he could make a cover with cardboard to take it to Peter's house and when we were already with one foot in the street started raining but we decided to go to Peter's house anyway.

Once we were there we couldn't avoid making a little joke since was "April's Fool" here in Sweden so we leave the cake in another floor and we rang the bell. Once Peter opened the door with a smile in all the face and we gave his the bad news that his cake fell hehehe, although he tried not too show he was sad the truth was that he was, after he was already saying what we should do to solve the problem, Moy arrived with the cake and the smile came back to his face hehe.

After all the guests arrived, Peter opened all his presents and then we brought the cake full of candles, although he had a hard time to blow them all he made it hehe. And I must said that the cake was delicious!!

In general the celebration was really good and Peter was really happy.

Seedningsloppet

Pues este fin de semana Moy corrió su primer carrera con gente. Resulta que antes del Göteborgsvarvet organizan una carrera de 10km para que quien quiera prepararse y de paso agarrar una mejor posición de salida en el medio maratón.

Así que nos lanzamos con Peter ya que él tambien iba a correr solo para checar su condición antes del Göteborgsvarvet.

Corrieron alrededor de 2600 personas así que se veía mucha gente ya que era un espacio algo pequeño donde era la salida. Tomaron sus lugares y se prepararon para salir, yo solamente era la fotógrafa oficial y cargadora de toda la ropa. Llegó un momento en que hacía un aironazo y las manos se me congelaban un buen.

Al final Peter le ganó a Moy pero bueno no eran competencias jeje. Moy de todos modos hizo muy buen tiempo y aparte no llegó muriendo como todos los demás corredores jajaja. Así que estoy muy orgullosa de él.

Después de la carrera se pudieron bañar en un centro comercial con regaderas y luego nos pusimos a ver tiendas y luego a comer se ha dicho. Ya después de comer decidimos regresar para que descansaran los corredores.

This weekend Moy run his first race with people. What happen is that before the Göteborgsvarvet they organize a 10km race for those that want to get prepare and also get a better start position for the half marathon.

So we went with Peter because he was also going to run to check his condition before the Göteborgsvarvet.

They ran around 2600 persons so you could se a lot of people because the space of the start point was kind of small. They took their positions and get ready to start, I was just the official photographer and also the carrier of all the clothes. In some point was very windy so my hands were freezing a lot.

At the end Peter won against Moy but was not a competition hehe. Moy made a very good time anyway and he was not dying in the end as the other runners hahaha. So I am really proud of him.

After the race they were able to take a shower in a mall that has showers and then we made a little bit of window shopping to eat after that. After we ate we decided to go back so the runners could rest.

Fin en Karlsad / Weekend at Karlstad

Peter nos invitó por el fin de semana a visitar a su hermana en Karlstad para conocer a Alfred. Sus papás rentaron una pequeña casa donde nos podíamos quedar a dormir. Así que tomamos el tren el sábado en la mañana. Al llegar a la estación ya nos esperaba el papá de Peter para llevarnos a casa de la hermana de Peter. Todos nos recibieron muy contentos y tuve el gusto de cargar al pequeño Alfred quien se quedó muy quietecito. La mamá de Peter había preparado unos roles de canela (kanelbullar) así que tuvimos una pequeña fika. Más tarde salimos un rato a vagar por la ciudad para luego regresar a cenar con toda la familia. Ese día era la final del Melodifestivalen así que nos dispusimos a verlo todos juntos.

Al día siguiente después de tener un baño con el agua más fría que jamás he sentido nos fuimos a desayunar para luego salir a jugar con Saga a un parque porque ella quería patinar pero desgraciadamente la pista ya estaba cerrada por fin de temporada así que solo anduvimos jugando en los juegos. Regresamos a comer lunch para luego salir hechos la raya a tomar el camión de regreso.







Fue un viaje corto pero pudimos hacer algo diferente y convivir más con la familia de Peter con quienes hablamos más sueco jeje.

Peter invited us to go and visit his sister for the weekend in Karlstad to meet Alfred. His parents rented a little house where we could stay to sleep. So we took the train on saturday morning. When we arrived at the station his father was already waiting for us to take us to Peter's sister house. Everybody received us really happy and I got the pleasure to carry the little Alfred, who stay very calm. Peter's mother prepared some cinnamon rolls (kanelbullar) so we took a little fika. Later we went out to walk around the city to get back on time to have dinner we all the family. That day was melodifestivalen's final so we watched all together.

The next after having one of the coldest showers ever we went to have breakfast to go out and play with Saga in a park because she wanted to ice-skate but unfortunately the rink was already close for the season so we were just playing around in the games. We went back to have lunch and go as fast as we could to the station to take the bus back home.

Was a short trip but was good to make something different and be with Peter's family, with whom we speak more swedish hehe

Feliz Cumpleaños Peter / Happy Birthday Peter

Hoy es el cumpleaños de Peter y pues como en la tarde estaría ocupado le dijimos que no podíamos quedar sin festejarlo y debíamos ir a comer juntos. Aceptó sin problema y propuso ir a un hotel llamado Alberts donde decían que era rico aunque un poco caro para el promedio de lunch.

Saliendo de mi curso me fui en bici al lugar y Moy tambien llegaría en bici. Llegamos y ya estaba Peter esperándonos tomando el sol jeje. Entramos y si en efecto el lugar se veía fancy, decidimos ordenar la pesca del día (Dagens Fångst) que era Torsk osea balacao* pero fresco frito.

Decidimos cerrar con el postre que fue un pequeño pastelito de chocolate acompañado de helado de mango.

Aunque estuvo sencilla nuestra comida nos la pasamos muy bien y creemos que Peter lo disfrutó que era lo importante.

* En Navidad cada año mis tías preparan bacalao (por supuesto no preparado igual) y no hay poder humano que haga que Moy se lo coma, pero póngale un nombre sueco y ni pio dice jeje. Apenas supo que era bacalao dijo "¡¡¡GUACALA COMÍ BACALAO!!!"

Today is Peter's birthday and since he was going to be busy in the afternoon we told him we couldn't be without celebrating him and that we should at least eat together. He said yes without any problem and propose an hotel to eat called Alberts, where they said the food is good but is a little bit more expensive than average.

As soon as I went out from my course I went in my bike to the place and Moy also arrived by bike. Peter was already waiting for us taking the sun hehe. We got in and in fact the place looks fancy, we decided to order the catch of the day (Dagens Fångst) that was cod* but fresh and fried.

We decided to finish our meal with the dessert that was a little chocolate cake with mango sorbet.

Even though the meal was simple we had a ver nice time and we believe Peter too which was the important thing.

* In Christmas every year my aunts made a cod (of course not the same preparation) and there is no human power that makes Moy eat it, but put a swedish name and he doesn't say anything hehe. As soon as he knew was cod he said "AUGH I ATE COD!!!"
