Influenza Porcina / Swine Flu

Bueno pues ahorita todo mundo habla de la influencia porcina y pues entre la preocupación y todo, si hay algo que nos caracteriza a los mexicanos es verle el lado cómico hasta a las más grandes tragedias para hacernos agradable el rato.

Ya andan por Internet algunas cosas relacionadas con esto y para muestra basta un botón.

"Y así empezó todo..." y bueno en mi opinión personal ese niño no se ve muy mexicano jeje.

Well right now all the world talks about the Swine Flu and between the worries and everything, if there is something that is a characteristic of the mexicans is that we always see the comic side even to the worst tragedies to make us the moment nicer.

Hornborgasjön

Pues ya estamos en fin de semana prácticamente y no les he platicado de nuestro fin pasado. Resulta que cada año en el inicio de la primavera llegan a un lago llamado Hornborgasjön las Grullas, miles y miles de grullas se congregan ahí para conocer a su pareja y volar un poco más al norte para reproducirse. Llegan de España pasando por Alemania.

El año pasado pues se nos fue el tiempo y nunca fuimos pero este decidimos que no se nos podía pasar y le comentamos a Alejandro que si nos lanzábamos. Nos tocó un clima delicioso la verdad, y ha sido el día más caluroso del año.

Primero llegamos a un lado del lago donde realmente no se ve mucho de las grullas sino es que nada en el momento pero se ven cisnes y muchos otros diferentes pájaros.





Luego nos pasamos al lugar más turístico de las grullas y fue donde descubrimos las miles de grullas reunidas en el lago, se supone que bailan pero no nos tocó porque como que solo estaban come y come.








Finalmente después de disfrutar de un helado decidimos partir con dirección a Uddevalla para comer salmón en un restaurant especializado en salmón (Laxbutiken).

We are almost in weekend again and I haven't tell you about the last one. Every year in the beginning of the Spring they arrived to a lake called Hornborgasjön the Cranes, thousand and thousand of cranes get there to meet their partner and fly a little bit more to the north to reproduce. They come from Spain passing through Germany.

Last year time goes by and we never went so this year we decided that we have to go and we told Alejandro if he wanted to go. We enjoyed a delicious weather, and has been the hottest day of the year.

First we arrived to a part of the lake where you can't find cranes, but you can see swans and many others kind of birds.

After that we went to the turistic place of the cranes and was where we discover the thousand of cranes in the lake. It's supposed that they dance but we didn't see it because they were just eating and eating.

Finally after enjoying an ice cream we decided to go to Uddevalla to eat salmon in a restaurant specialized in salmon.

Feliz Cumpleaños Peter / Happy Birthday Peter

Hoy es el cumpleaños de Peter y pues como en la tarde estaría ocupado le dijimos que no podíamos quedar sin festejarlo y debíamos ir a comer juntos. Aceptó sin problema y propuso ir a un hotel llamado Alberts donde decían que era rico aunque un poco caro para el promedio de lunch.

Saliendo de mi curso me fui en bici al lugar y Moy tambien llegaría en bici. Llegamos y ya estaba Peter esperándonos tomando el sol jeje. Entramos y si en efecto el lugar se veía fancy, decidimos ordenar la pesca del día (Dagens Fångst) que era Torsk osea balacao* pero fresco frito.

Decidimos cerrar con el postre que fue un pequeño pastelito de chocolate acompañado de helado de mango.

Aunque estuvo sencilla nuestra comida nos la pasamos muy bien y creemos que Peter lo disfrutó que era lo importante.

* En Navidad cada año mis tías preparan bacalao (por supuesto no preparado igual) y no hay poder humano que haga que Moy se lo coma, pero póngale un nombre sueco y ni pio dice jeje. Apenas supo que era bacalao dijo "¡¡¡GUACALA COMÍ BACALAO!!!"

Today is Peter's birthday and since he was going to be busy in the afternoon we told him we couldn't be without celebrating him and that we should at least eat together. He said yes without any problem and propose an hotel to eat called Alberts, where they said the food is good but is a little bit more expensive than average.

As soon as I went out from my course I went in my bike to the place and Moy also arrived by bike. Peter was already waiting for us taking the sun hehe. We got in and in fact the place looks fancy, we decided to order the catch of the day (Dagens Fångst) that was cod* but fresh and fried.

We decided to finish our meal with the dessert that was a little chocolate cake with mango sorbet.

Even though the meal was simple we had a ver nice time and we believe Peter too which was the important thing.

* In Christmas every year my aunts made a cod (of course not the same preparation) and there is no human power that makes Moy eat it, but put a swedish name and he doesn't say anything hehe. As soon as he knew was cod he said "AUGH I ATE COD!!!"
