Kräftskiva

Pues ahora nos dispusimos a celebrar la fiesta del langostino, que se celebra en agosto. El langostino solía ser una delicia en Suecia pero pues era tan delicia que se los terminaron y ahora los encuentras principalmente congelados traídos de China, España y Estados Unidos; si venden suecos aún pero prácticamente al doble de precio.

Normalmente un 'Kräftskiva' se hace con mucha gente y con MUCHOS langostinos pero pues en primera no fuimos muchos y en segunda casi no nos gusta estar luchando con los langostinos. En un típico kräftskiva se empieza con juegos al aire libre si el clima lo permite, para luego empezar con un cántico y a comer se ha dicho, obviamente como buena fiesta sueca también debe haber mucho alcohol, y la tradición es algo así como "shot por langostino".

Así que nuestro pequeño 'Kräftskiva' no fue muy tradicional jeje, pero la verdad estuvo bien, disfrutamos los langostinos, les dimos unas cuantas lecciones a nuestros amigos de como comerlos y disfrutamos del momento.

This time we decided to celebrate the Crayfish Party, that takes part in August. The crayfish used to be a delicacy in Sweden but such a delicacy that they run out of them and now they have to import them from China, Spain and the US; you can still found a few swedish ones but more expensive.

Normally a 'Kräftskiva' is made with a lot of people and A LOT of crayfish but we weren't that many and we don't like to be fighting with the crayfish. In a typical one everything starts with a few games outdoors if the weather allow it and then start singing before eating, and as every swedish party a lot of alcohol is needed, and the tradition says "one shot per crayfish".

Our little 'Kräftskiva' was not so traditional hehe, but was really good, we enjoyed the crayfish, we showed our friends how to eat them and we enjoyed the moment.
