Cumpleaños de Sil / Sil's birthday

Pues el día de ayer fue el cumpleaños de mi hermana Silvia, nos invitó a su casa a festejar y entonces le dije que yo le hacía su pastel de cumpleaños ya que es bien feo que hagas tu propio pastel de cumpleaños ¿¿¿a poco no???

Decidí hacerle el pastel germano de chocolate que es uno de sus favoritos pero lleva nuez y como Henrik es alérgico decidí hacer uno extra sin nuez para que pudiera probarlo aunque fuera una versión distinta.

Hubo un pequeño problema en la planeación ya que en una tienda encontré nueces de pacana que para mis son "las normales" pero después solo encontré nueces de castilla, todo iba bien hasta que hablé con mi hermana Cintya y le comenté de las nueces que había comprado y me dijo "mmm pero la lata es que las tienes que pelar" y yo con cara de "what?" y ya me explicó que tienen una cubierta transparente y la tienes que quitar metiéndolas en agua caliente y luego con la mano. Así que el mero día hacer esto nos retrasó bastante!!

Total que llegamos un poco tarde con el pastel en la super protección que llevó Peter de retache en su coche jeje.

Todo el festejo estuvo muy bien, la carne que preparó Sil muy rica y prácticamente nos venimos hasta que terminó su cumpleaños jeje.

Yesterday was my sister's Silvia birthday, she invited us to celebrate in her house so I told her I will make her birthday cake because it's kind of bad doing your cake, right???

I decided to make the german chocolate cake which is one of Silvia's favorites but since it contain nuts and Henrik is alergic I decided to make one extra without nuts so he could eat it although it was a different version.

There was a little problem in the planning because in one store I found pecan nuts which are the "normals" ones for me but then in another one I only found walnuts, everything was going fine until I spoke with my sister Cintya and I told her I bought walnuts so she said "mmm but it's annoying to peel them out" and I was with a face of "what?" so then she explained that they have a transparent cover and you must remove it putting them on hot water and then with the hand, so the exact day we were delay by that a lot!!

Anyway we arrived a little bit late with the cake in the special protection that Peter brough back in his car hehe.

All the celebration was really good, the meat that Silvia made was delicious and practically we came back until her birthday ended hehe.

Quemada / Burned

El día de ayer fue todo un acontecimiento. Resulta que ese día en la mañana me lancé a un pequeño centro comercial de rapidín a buscar un molde para galletas pues quería hacer galletas de San Valentin. Pero estando en mi búsqueda recibí una llamada de mi hermana Silvia ¡¡¡qué se acababa de quemar!!! De momento uno piensa, la exagerada se quemó con un cerillo o algo por el estilo pero ¡¡NO!! la ñinita puso TODA la mano en la parrilla eléctrica que había prendido minutos antes en el número 6 (de niveles 1 al 6).

Le hablé a Moy para decirle y como yo me encontraba algo lejos, me dijo que en ese instante se daba una vuelta para ver cómo estaba. Ya que andaba en el centro pues pasé a la farmacia a comprar algo para ponerle aunque todavía no sabía si sería necesario llevarla al doctor. A los pocos minutos me llamó Moy que iban a ir con el doctor pero le comenté que ya había comprado algunas cosas y que iba casi corriendo (no se podía mucho dado el piso resbaloso) así que decidieron esperar a que yo llegara.

Cuando llegué Henrik ya también había llegado, Silvia ya tenía la mano en agua fría y le pusimos los vendajes que me recomendaron. Afortunadamente las quemaduras no fueron graves y aunque no le quedaba mucha huella digital, sus dedos estaban muy bien y solo tenía dos quemadas más fuertes en la palma de la mano.

Hasta el momento no me explico porqué puso la mano pero es una de esas preguntas que siempre quedarán sin contestar jajajaja.

Al momento de escribir este post ya se encuentra mucho mejor y solo fue mayor el susto.

Yesterday was a complete event. In the morning I decided to go to a little mall very fast to search for a cookie shape to make some valentine's cookies. But while I was there my sister Silvia called me to tell me she just burned herself!!! In that moment one thinks, she's just overreacting and she just burned herself with a match or something like that but NO!! the little girl put ALL the hand in the electric grill that she just turned on a few minutes before in the numbre 6 (of levels 1 to 6).

I called Moy and since I was farther away, he told me that in the moment he was going to see how she was. Since I was already in downtown I decided to go to the pharmacy to buy something to put her on although I didn't know if it was necessary to take her to the doctor. A few minutes later Moy called me that they were going to the doctor, I told him I just bought some stuff and I was almost running (as much as I could with slippery floor) so they decided to wait for me.

When I arrived, Henrik was already there. Silvia was with her hand in cold water and we put her the bandages they recommended me. Fortunately the burns were not that strong and although her fingerprints were almost gone, her fingers were fine and she just had two stronger burns in the palm.

Until now I can't explain why she put the hand but I guess it's one of those questions that will never have an answer hahahaha.

At the moment of writing this post she's much better and was only the scare.

Sil en Smögen

Se me ha olvidado comentarles más sobre la visita de mi hermana, pues tambien tuvimos la oportunidad de ir a Smögen en la costa este de Suecia.

Es un lugar que a mi en lo personal me gusta mucho y aunque en esta ocasion no pondré muchas fotos del pueblito en otro post les platicaré más sobre este lugar.

Empezamos comiendo sushi en Trollhättan donde no pintaba para ser un buen día así que decidimos irnos para la costa este donde afortunadamente el clima estaba mucho mejor. Como ya habíamos comido ya solo disfrutamos de un helado.

Sil en Trollhättan

Como muchos de ustedes saben la semana pasada estuvo mi hermana por aquí y pues estuvimos recorriendo la gran ciudad de Trollhättan para enseñarle donde vivimos.

Le tocaron unos días perfectos y de hecho muy calientes para ser un verano sueco. Y tuvo la oportunidad de ver varias cosas que hacen famoso nuestro pueblo las cuales explicaré más adelante en otro post.
