¡¡¡Hoy cumplimos 10 años de ser novios!!!

La verdad es que el tiempo se pasa rapidísimo pero creo que hemos disfrutado cada momento. Creo que todas las parejas deben seguir siendo novios siempre y no dejar de sorprenderse el uno al otro, esa temporada cuando siempre buscas hacer algo para impresionar a tu pareja y que se enamore cada día más de ti.

Gracias por estos 10 años llenos de sorpresas mi amor... y vamos por más.

Today we celebrate 10 years of being together!!!

Actually time goes by very fast but I think we had enjoy every moment. I believe all the couples should continue their relationship like they were when they were just going out and doesn't stop surprising each other, that stage when you always search to make something to impress your partner and make him/her fall more in love with you.

Thanks for this 10 years full of surprises my love... and we go for more.

4 år här!!

El día de hoy cumplimos 4 años de haber llegado a conquistar este país jajaja. Y pues ahí la llevamos jeje.

En nuestros cursos de sueco vamos poco a poco.

Nos hemos acostumbrado al clima que no siempre es lo más agradable.

Hemos hecho buenos amigos a los que les mandamos un gran saludo.

Y pues Dios dirá que planes tiene para nosotros. Mientras tanto seguiremos disfrutando todo lo que viene.

Today we celebrate 4 years of coming to conquer this country hahaha. And well we are going in a good direction hehe.

In our swedish classes we are going little by little.

We are getting used to the weather which is not always nice.

We had made good friends to whom we send a big greeting.

And well, God will tell us which are the plans He has for us. Meanwhile we continue enjoying everything that comes.

Último día en Mainz / Last day in Mainz

Así es como llegamos a nuestro último día en Mainz. Ese día decidimos llevárnosla tranquila, salimos a caminar, hicimos las últimas compras, comimos unos noodles en un restaurante que siempre había tenido ganas de comer y luego comimos fresas sentados a las orillas del Rin.

That is how we reached our last day in Mainz. We decided to take a relax day, we went out walking, made our last shopping, ate noodles in a restaurant I always wanted to eat and then strawberries looking at the Rhine.

Mainz 3er día / Mainz 3rd day

Para el tercer día (domingo) nuestro plan era ir a misa pero con la desvelada nos quedamos dormidos y ya no llegamos. Ese día Rene nos había invitado a su casa a una carne asada, pero antes decidimos dar una vuelta por un parque a caminar un rato. Fue el día más caluroso de todos llegamos como a 35°, nos habíamos comprado unas sandalias el día anterior pero para mi fueron contraproducentes ya que me hicieron ampolla.

En casa de Rene llegaron unos amigos de él y se quedaron a comer con nosotros. Más tarde llegó Sebastian y de ahí nos fuimos a comer un helado y luego a tomar un cóctel.

Ese día Mainz pasó a la primera división de fútbol en Alemania así que había fiesta por todos lados, veías gente pasar con playeras, gorras, bufandas,... celebrando.

For the third day (sunday) our plan was go to mass but with the late night we didn't wake up and we didn't arrive. That day Rene invited us to a barbecue at his house, but before going we went to a walk to a park. That day was the warmest, we reached 35°C. We bought sandals the day before but for me were not good because they made me a blister. In Rene's house they arrived some friends of him and they stayed to it with us. Later Sebastian arrived so we decided to go and take an ice cream and later a cocktail.

That day the Mainz football team went to the first division so was party everywhere, you see people with t-shirts, caps, scarfs,... celebrating.

Mainz 2do día / Mainz 2nd day

Para el sábado teníamos planeado comer espárragos blancos que son muy populares en Alemania y que se dan en primavera. Los sirven con papas y salsa holandesa. Y están tan tiernos que saben muy rico.

Ese día en la noche nos vimos con Rene para salir a bailar, cosa que nunca hicimos puesto que nos instalamos en un bar cubano, ahí llegó Sven que trabaja en Opel con Rene, luego llegaron sus amigos que viven con él, bueno en realidad parecían relevos, llegaron unos y luego se fueron pero llegaron otros jeje. Total que ahí nos quedamos hasta como las 2:00 AM porque se nos pasó el tiempo volando.

For saturday we planned to eat white asparagus that are very popular in Germany and they are available in spring. They are served with potatoes and hollandaise sauce. They are so tender that taste delicious.

This day in the night we met Rene to go to dance, but we never did it because we finished in a cuban bar, Sven arrived later, he works with Rene at Opel, and then his roomates, well in reality was more like relays, first they arrived one couple and then they went away and another girl arrived hehe. So we stayed there until 2:00 AM and time flies.

Bueno se me había pasado por completo dejarles algunas fotos de Mainz, el primer día encontramos un restaurante mexicano que pues no estuvo tan mal pero la comida sigue sin ser 100% mexicana, aparte de que cuando entramos nos acabábamos de comer un delicioso helado entonces el hambre ya no era tan grande.

I completely forget to put some pictures from Mainz, the first day we found a Mexican Restaurant that was not so bad but the food was still not 100% mexican, and before eating we ate a delicious ice cream so we were not that hungry.

¡¡4to Aniversario!! / 4th Anniversary!!

Hace unas semanas cumplimos 4 años de casados, cosa que nos hace muy felices :). Para celebrarlo Moy me tenía preparada una sorpresa que en parte se le cebó porque no ató todos los cabos sueltos y pues lo sorprendí con un pequeño detalle.

Unos días antes llegué de mi curso de Matlab para decirle que tenía examen el próximo lunes 25 (cosa que él ya sabía) y que el maestro me había dicho que era de 4 horas!! Total que cuando le dije pues Moy puso cara de WHAT?? y me dijo que no iba a poder hacerlo, porque no íbamos a estar y pues obviamente no me dijo adónde íbamos ni nada.

Pero llegó el gran día y al despertar y felicitarme me dijo que nos iríamos a Mainz en Alemania y regresaríamos hasta el martes 26. Mainz no es una ciudad grande y es a donde me mandaban de trabajo, pero está llena de vida y nos gusta mucho.

Así que me puse a empacar y arreglar los últimos detalles, a medio día Peter nos fue a felicitar y darnos nuestro abrazo y luego más tarde llegó Alejandro que nos iba a dar un aventón al aeropuerto. Llegamos a Mainz después de tomar el camión del aeropuerto y ahí nos esperaba Rene para darnos las llaves que nos había dejado Sebastian de su departamento que nos iba a prestar.

Finalmente salimos a brindar con un cocktail por 4 felices años juntos.

A few weeks ago was our 4th Wedding Anniversary, and that makes us very happy :). To celebrate Moy prepared a surprise that in part was busted because he didn't tie up all the ropes and I surprised him with a little detail.

A few days before I arrived from my Matlab course and told him that my exam that was next monday 25 (which he knew before) was going to be of 4 hours!! So when I told him he put a face of WHAT?? and told me that I was not going to be able to make it because I was not going to be here and of course he didn't told me anything more.

But then finally the great day arrived and after waking me up and congratulated me he told me we were going to Mainz in Germany and we were coming back until tuesday 26th. Mainz is not a big city and it's where I went from work, but the city is full of life and we like it a lot.

So I packed and fixed some last details, at midday Peter came home to congratulate us and give us our hug and later Alejandro arrived because he was going to give us a ride to the airport. We arrived to Mainz after taking the bus from the airport and Rene was waiting for us to give us the key of Sebastian's apartment that borrowed us.

Finally we went out to toast with a cocktail for our 4 happy years together.

¡¡Ya son 3 años!! / Already 3 years!!

Hoy cumplimos nuestro 3er aniversario de estar en Suecia, primero estudiando y ahora trabajando. Han sido muchas las experiencias durante estos tres años y es por eso que decidí hace exactamente un año abrir este blog para platicarles nuestras anécdotas en este país y muchos otros.

Como el día estaba bonito después de casi invernar decidimos salir a hacer un pequeño picnic solo los dos. Compramos unas salchichas, pan y ya teníamos una pequeña parrillita para hacer hot dogs. Buscamos un lugar cerca de nuestra casa donde se pudiera hacer así que como quien dice fue en nuestro jardín.

Como teníamos un poco de tocino lo enrollamos en algunas salchichas y cuando las pusimos en la parrilla pasaron varias viejitas que nos decían que olía muy rico.

Today is our 3rd anniversary of being here in Sweden, first studying and now working. Had been a lot of experiences during these three years and that is why I decided to start this blog exactly one year ago to talk about our stories in this country and many others.

The day was nice so after almost been invernating we decided to go out and make a little picnic the 2 of us. We bought sausages, bread and we already had a little grill to make hot dogs. We searched a place close to our house where we could do it so could be said that was in our garden.

We had a little bit of bacon so we rolled it in some sausages and when we put them in the grill some old ladies passed by and told us that smell really good.
